*Beginner Class Level

Class Fee: $125.00 Class Time 7PM - 9 PM
4 classes
A beginner level class geared towards those who are looking to
learn a new craft. This class teaches the Tiffany Copper Foil
method. The session runs for four weeks, at the end of which
you will have completed one of ten pre-selected panels designed
to teach all the skills necessary to move on to larger and more
challenging projects. Minimal work is required in between classes.
Class size is limited to 6 students. Materials are provided the
first night of class, after which students will be expected to
have their own supplies. Students can expect to spend between
$250and $375 for supplies.

What could be more exciting then learning how to make your own custom beads. Many new items have become available for use with beads. They are not just for jewelry any more. Let our instructor teach you the basics so you can start down the road to sucessful bead making.

If it has to do with copper foil, this could just be the class
you have been waiting for. This class is designed for those with
intermediate and advanced skills. This class will take you where
you want to go. Build advance projects including panels, lamps,
boxes, mirrors. Want to learn more, this class is for you. Class
forum is open and relaxed, with students bringing their own projects,
ideas, problems ect.. to the class. All students are expected
to pre-register for this class. All students are expected to
bring their own tools and supplies to the class unless otherwise
instructed. Grinders will be provided. Limit 6 students.

Intermediate Copper Foil Class

Class Dates-- November 3rd, 10th, 17th, &24th
Our intermediate copper foil class is designed to help students improve on skills learned in a beginner level course, with a special focus on improving cutting skills and soldering technique. Students are asked to choose a panel they would like to complete, but are limited to 16x20 in size. Patterns are subject to instructor's approval to ensure students will get the most out of the course. Students are expected to have their pattern and glass selected as well as their templates prepared prior to the meeting of the first class. Class size is limited to 6 students to ensure one on one instruction. Students are expected to bring their own supplies. Grinders are available for use during class time only.

Intro to Glass Fusing

Class Fee: $95.00 Includes use of tools and glass
Class Dates: November 5th & 12th
Required Text: $47.95 One of the more recent additions to our
class line up, our introduction to fusing class is designed to
teach participants how fun and easy it is to fuse' We provide everything
you need to complete two projects so all you have to do is come
ready to learn. All the basics will be covered including different
techniques, glass selection and kiln operation. Class size is limited
to 6 students..(Intro to glass cutting recomended for those wishing
to cut detailed designs)

Mosaics and Light. . . . Skill Level:Beginner

Class Dates: December 1st & 8th
Class Status: New
This class is designed to show students how to take the traditional mosaic
technique and combine it with stained glass to take advantage of its light
transmission properties without having to foil and solder! These projects
are truly beautiful. Students will be given a choice of patterns to work
from. Course cost includes instruction, and glass. In addition students
can expect to spend $27 on supplies. Class size is limited to 6 students.

Beginner Class Level

Class Fee: $125.00
This class is designed for students wishing to continue building
their stained glass skills. In addition to skill building,
students will also learn how to use wire in a project as well
as how to frame a project beyond the use of 1/8" zinc.
In addition, students will also learn more about the use of
foils and patinas. Students are expected to have their pattern
and glass chosen, as well as their template cut for the first
class. Students are also expected to bring all nessasary tools
to class with the exception of a grinder, which will be supplied.
Students will be allowed to chose their pattern, but the pattern
must meet the approval of the instructor, and is limited in
size to approximatly 12"x16".

Glass Cutting ...Intro
to glass cutting.
Single Class
Class Date: To Be Announced
This is glass cutting 101. Whether starting out new with no experience,
or wanting to improve your skills, or perhaps, refresh your skills,
this class is for you. This class will cover techniques for cutting
glass using a hand cutter as well as learning about the Morton
glass cutting system. Tools and glass will be supplied, or, if
you already own your tools feel free to bring them with you.
Have a pattern piece that is giving you problems? Bring that
along as well.
Class limit 6 students.

Mosaic Stepping Stones. . . . Skill Level: Beginner
2 Classes
Class Dates: To Be Announced
This class is designed to introduce glass enthusiasts to the process involved
in creating mosaic stepping-stones. Students will be given a choice of patterns
to work from and will be provided with the mold and cement necessary to complete
an 8x8 stone and the mold is yours to keep. Students will need to purchase
their glass. Class size is limited to 6 students. Glass cutting experience
is helpful, but not necessary. (Students may want to consider Intro to glass
cutting)
